Our lives are great gifts and I just try to live the best way I can. Where is my home? series 2011-2012
It has been 20 years that I am painting, doing graphic design, stage design and illustration.
My favorite subject is the human figure. The human figure has been a tool to explain new purports, which I am facing with every day and to create new concepts by inserting it in different painting backgrounds and ambiances which I am designing. I have been discovering new connections between the human figure and a variety of painting techniques. This interest would be illustrated by interlacing human subjects with the preoccupations of each period of my life, nature, human relationships, laws, religions and... People who have special coatings, a certain look, and certain installation in my paintings would explain my favorite concepts. Today’s world has been challenged with providing the culture of using technology and different sciences which are being developed so fast day by day. And still there are lots of important questions about human and humanity’s goal that those sciences are incapable to answer them. Using photography and digital painting In the present series, which is part of my recent paintings, I have been trying to find and discover new connections between human and technology and those modern urban concepts with which I have been encountering since last 3 years in Canada, I‘ve reviewed cultural differences and similarities of the old traditional world and the modern one and I’ve found that today’s human is living in a transition period between those 2 different worlds which can have limbo characteristics in. |
Past Event : Kamasutrah Painting Exhibition - May 31 ,2013 Hose Of Moment - TorontoAbout my Painting in Kamasutra Exhibition:
The Main Idea of this piece comes from an old motif in Parisian carpet. In this motif, there are four symbols located at the four corners of the carpet, which represent four doors to heaven and a central medallion that represent heaven itself. Following this philosophy, artist situated Kamasutra poses at the four corners to represent ways of Sensuality, and the main image in the middle symbolizes Love. |
